Open the MCP, go to Settings, and edit the name. The name is display only. Every call, counter, session and key is keyed on the MCP’s id, so renaming affects nothing that was recorded before or after.

Go to Settings

The MCP’s own nav — not account settings. Entering an MCP swaps the sidebar for that MCP’s sections, opening with a link back.

Edit the name and save

One to 120 characters.
Renaming requires the admin role or higher. Members can read every number on the MCP but cannot change it. See Roles and permissions.

It changes what agents call it

The MCP tools accept an MCP by name as well as by id, matched case-insensitively. Renaming changes the name an agent has to use, and two MCPs sharing a name become ambiguous — resolveMcpId refuses to guess and asks for the id instead. Distinct names are worth keeping for that reason alone.
